treatments<\/strong>, diversifying its production to better satisfy all the specific needs of different sectors: metallurgy, automotive, design, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The multiplicity of <strong>thermal treatments<\/strong> and the different characteristics of the components that have to be treated (dimensions, materials, etc.) have led to the production of a wide range of <strong>industrial furnaces<\/strong>, equipped with conveyor belts, rollers, thrust transport systems, etc. Sabe Forni also offers specific equipment and plants both for surface treatments (carburizing, nitriding) and for treatments in the interior part of the pieces that have to be treated (tempering).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2022 Shutdown fluids in furnaces for thermal treatment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In our plants for thermal surface treatments, <strong>shutdown fluids can change<\/strong> according to the different materials that are treated and the specific hardenability: water, water with the addition of polymers, molten salts, oil, gas.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2022 The protective atmosphere in furnaces for thermal treatment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Some treatments need an accurate check of the protective atmosphere, through the measurement and the adjustment of gaseous components. For these needs, we offer <strong>industrial furnaces<\/strong> equipped with a <strong>gas analysis system<\/strong> with infrared or paramagnetic measurement cells, etc.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2022 Auxiliary systems for furnaces for thermal treatment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our plants for thermal surface treatments of metal and steel are often supported by <strong>auxiliary devices<\/strong>, such as electronic weighing chargers, oil removal systems, burnishing baths, etc., that complete the equipment and also allow the execution of complex processes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2022 Gas nitriding furnace<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The nitriding process is a <strong>treatment to harden the surface of metals<\/strong> up to very high hardness values, from 600 to 1100 Vickers. The metal piece that has been treated with the nitriding process has a higher resistance to wear and hard work. There aren\u2019t strong geometric deformations because the nitriding process takes place at low temperature (below 600\u00b0C).<\/p>\n<p>The nitriding process has <strong>two phases<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the first phase takes place at stable temperature between 500 and 530\u00b0C, and the degree of dissociation is kept between 15% and 30%;<\/li>\n<li>the second phase takes place at a temperature of 550-565\u00b0C and the degree of dissociation increases to 65-80%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With our plants to treat the surface finish of metals, you can obtain an extremely hard and compact surface made of an outer white layer with a thickness of 5-25 micron, where nitrogen creates iron nitrate (Fe2N), and an inner layer with a thickness between 0.1 and 1 mm characterized by a high level of hardness and a better resistance to hard work.<\/p>\n<p>The degree of dissociation is controlled by the addition of ammonia that has been previously dissociated inside a dissociator contained in the plant. Waste gases, that are emitted into the atmosphere and contain non-dissociated ammonia, are treated inside another dissociator to obtain the complete combustion and avoid the presence of toxic gases in the environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-blend-mode:
